The S.S. Sicamous Society owns a number of lifeboats- some original to the Sicamous and to other ships. Almost all of them are in very poor condition and need to be restored.
In 2023 an exterior workspace was added beside the Dredge Shed to protect the lifeboats in the winter and provide a dry space for restoration volunteers to work on projects, such as restoring the lifeboats belonging to the society. Below you can see volunteers building this new workspace. In the background of these photos you will see some future projects. The last photo features some of the lifeboats mentioned.
