Judy Rowe - from 6:30 - 8 PM
As a late bloomer in the music industry, I am a firm believer that it is never too late to follow your passion. I didn’t start singing in public until I was in my late 30’s and jumped head first into my own band singing all genres of music with “Reckless Hearts” for almost a decade and then a dance band called “Judy & the Sugar Daddy’s” and “Judy & the Diamonds”. My passion for singing in Spanish also found it’s voice and I was invited to sing in numerous places in Mexico especially for special events. Another sideline passion for me was and is being a Patsy Cline Tribute Artist which has been very popular with music lovers for the last 22 years. I’ve sang at Penticton Peach Festival for 30 years in a variety of different Genres. For the past number of years I have grown fonder of Jazz, Swing and some Blues. With Judy & the Sugar Daddies I was singing quite a variety of dance band music and loved a lot of the songs from the 20’s to the 50’s. When I was invited to sing with Bob Draga & the Dragons at the Pentastic Jazz Festival I fell in love with Jazz. For a number of years, I was the lead singer for the South Okanagan Big Band and we also performed at the Jazz Festival a couple of times. After some necessary time off, I am now ready to get back into the swing of things. As Patsy Cline says, “Making music is the sweetest thing this side of Heaven”.

Proceeds from this event will support our Wheel Cover Restoration Project, an important initiative to preserve the historical charm and functionality of the SS Sicamous. Your participation and contributions will directly impact the success of this vital restoration effort.
