Commemorative Cover Unveiling for our 110th Birthday!
This year we are sailing up on the S.S. Sicamous’s 110th Birthday, therefore making it fitting that we celebrate her centennial with a commemorative cover.
The public is invited to join the Penticton Stamp Club and the S.S. Sicamous onboard the S.S. Sicamous for the unveiling of the S.S. Sicamous centennial cover on Monday, May 20 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
A Limited edition collectors cover, cancelled with a special Sicamous stamp created for our 100th birthday, and signed by the artist, Randy Manuel, will be available for purchase at the unveiling.
The original artwork will be on display at the ship during the event.
We invite the public to come on down to the ship for no admission fees on this day only. Staff will be available to chat and answer any history questions that come our way!
Coffee, Tea, and pop will be available by donation in the dining hall.
The Stamp club will be at the ship from 10:00 - 2:00 PM to cancel your selected stamps with our Sicamous stamp, which can be located at the Penticton Post office only.
Our local historian Randy Manuel will also be at the ship for the duration of the event!
