SS Sicamous Heritage Park, Penticton
Position: Historical Interpreter
We are looking for seasonal full-time employees between the ages of 16 and 30.
Ready to start in early May to mid May 2019
Intro: The SS Sicamous is a big ship with a small crew, so the work is varied, and flexibility is important. You will be responsible for many different activities including: helping with archival management, greeting visitors at the front desk, cleaning duties, looking after the gift shop, event execution and assisting with tours around the decks of the ship.
Wage: $13.85 to $14.85 per hour. Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Dates of Employment: May to August 31, 2019
The ideal candidate possesses excellent verbal communication skills, and an outstanding work ethic as well as:
- Willingness to learn
- Happy to clean (it’s a big boat)
- An interest in Canadian History.
