Don’t be late for a very important date. Join us for an Alice in Wonderland inspired high tea on board the S.S. Sicamous. Bring your best hat and enjoy touch of madness with us. Guests can roam throughout the ship while enjoying dainty snacks and sipping tea from vintage teacups. The high tea will be on Sunday, August 6th (from 1:30pm to 3:30pm). This event is a fundraiser for the S.S. Sicamous Society, for repairs and restorations on the ships in our care.
The dining hall will be filled with the melody of vintage tunes and the enthusiastic murmur of guests, dressed in their Sunday best. An aroma of freshly baked goods and fragrant tea drifts through the air. During the afternoon, there will be an array of tasty snacks and appetizers, provided by Okanagan Vintage Catering. The foods will be served on vintage china, and will be paired with delicious freshly baked desserts from Cobs Bread Bakery, and tea provided by Teas & Weaves.
This event is always popular, and we expect it to be a sellout event. We are excited to share the history and entertainment with you all again this year.
