High Tea at the SS Sicamous – August 2017

Details to be Announced for 2017 – The text below is from the 2016 High Tea Fundraiser!

Travel back to a time of elegance with a 1920s themed high tea on the S.S. Sicamous! The afternoon will include tea, appetizers, lawn games, live music, and the chance to experience a historic atmosphere.

Where?: The S.S. Sicamous 1099 Lakeshore Dr.
When?: 1:30 – 3:30pm
How Much?: Tickets are $30 with the exception of members (who can purchase theirs for $25)

They will be available at the S.S. Sicamous and eventbrite.com. They won’t be available at the door, so make sure you book early.

Frequently asked questions: 

What is included?: Tea, appetizers, lawn games, live music, and a chance to experience a historic atmosphere!

Where can I buy tickets?: You can buy tickets here:  or in person at the SS Sicamous. Please note: Tickets will NOT be sold at door.

Do I have to dress up?: Only if you want to, but it makes it more fun!

Do I have to book in advance?: Yes, tickets will not be sold at the door.

What if I don’t like tea?: We will also have iced tea and coffee upon request.

Can I bring my granddaughter?: Yes, this event is for all ages!

What if I can’t use the stairs?: We recently installed an elevator! Just ask one of our volunteers to help.

Do I have to be there right at 1:30 or can I come after?: Yes, please arrive at 1:30 but you can leave whenever, you don’t have to stay until 3:30!

Where does the money go?: To the S.S. Sicamous Society for restorations and reparations on the ships in the heritage park.

Will the boat be open to the public?: The ship will only be open to high tea goers, members of the public will not be able to tour the ship that day,

Will there be live music?: Yes, there will be a pianist, and local musicians playing too.
